Ryō Kubota ( Japanese 窪 田 良 Kubota Ryō ; born April 8, 1991 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Kubota learned to play soccer in the Tokyo Verdy youth team and the university team at Hannan University . He signed his first contract with Tokushima Vortis in 2014 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2014 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . For the club he completed two top division games. In 2016 he moved to third division club Kataller Toyama . For Kataller, he completed 54 league games. In 2018 he moved to the second division Ventforet Kofu . For the club he completed 13 league games. In 2019 he moved to the third division Thespakusatsu Gunma . For Gunma, he completed nine league games. In 2020 he moved to league rivals SC Sagamihara .
