Ryō Okui ( Japanese 奥 井 諒 , Okui Ryō ; born March 7, 1990 in Toyonaka , Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Ryō Okui learned to play football in the youth team of Gamba Osaka , the school team of Riseisha Gakuen Toyonaka High School and the university team of Waseda University . He signed his first professional contract with Vissel Kobe in 2012 . The club from Kobe , which is based on the island of Honshū , played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of 2012, he had to start the path to the second class with the club. In 2013 he was runner-up with Kobe in the J2 League and managed to get promoted again. For Kobe, he completed 97 games. In 2016 he moved to league competitor Ōmiya Ardija in Saitama . At the end of 2017, he was relegated to the second division with the club as 18th in the first division. He was on the pitch 81 times for Ōmiya until the end of 2019. The first division team Shimizu S-Pulse from Shimizu signed him in 2020.
