Ryō Takeuchi ( Japanese 竹 内 涼 ; born March 8, 1991 in Hamamatsu , Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Ryō Takeuchi signed his first contract with Shimizu S-Pulse in 2009 . The Shimizu club played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . In 2012 he was loaned to second division club Giravanz Kitakyushu to Kitakyushu . For Giravanz, he played 30 games in the J2 League . In 2013 he returned to Shimizu after borrowing. At the end of 2015, he had to relegate the club to the second division as seventeenth in the table. In 2016 he became runner-up with Shimizu in the J2 League and rose straight back to the top division.
