Ryū ga Gotoku Kenzan! ( jap. 龍 が 如 く 見 参! ), also known as Yakuza Kenzan by fans ! is an offshoot of Sega's Yakuza series that has been published exclusively in Asia for the PlayStation 3 . A western publication is currently not being considered.
In Japan, 270,438 copies of the game could be sold by January 2010. Its sales figures qualified it for a new release as part of the "PlayStation3 the Best" series in December 2008.
action
After his defeat in the Battle of Sekigahara , Miyamoto Musashi gave up his life as a swordsman in order to earn his living as a mercenary under the alias Kazumanosuke Kiryu in Gion ( Kyoto ). Five years later, he receives a surprise visit from a girl named Haruka, who asks him to murder Miyamoto Musashi - a con man who benefits from Musashi's former celebrity.
First, Musashi refuses the order because Haruka cannot pay it; But when she starts to work in the local brothel to save up Musashi's wages, he accepts and goes on a search for the impostor.
Game principle and technology
The gameplay corresponds to the rest of the saga: in a limited interactive, open game world , adventure elements alternate with battle scenes. The only big change is the change in the scenario from the present to the age of feudal Japan.
