Ryūgū-kita Misaki ( Japanese 竜 宮 北 岬 'northern tip of the undersea dragon palace' ) is the northern headland of Cape Ryūgū on the Crown Prince Olav coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land .
Aerial photographs and measurements by a Japanese Antarctic expedition (1957–1962), as a result of which this headland was named in 1979, were used to map it. Japanese scientists carried out further measurements between 1977 and 1978.
