Ryūgū-naka-no-iwa (from Japanese 乙 姫 岩 'Middle Rock of the Undersea Dragon Palace' ) is a rocky outcrop on the Crown Prince Olav coast of Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises in the center of Cape Ryūgū .
Japanese cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs and surveys from 1957 to 1962 and from survey data collected from 1977 to 1978. They named him in 1979.
