Girl Trap is a French feature film from 1957 directed by Léonide Moguy . The film premiered in the Federal Republic of Germany on October 18, 1957. The film drama describes the stony path of a young aspiring actress who is looking for her fortune in Paris, where she has to assert herself against tough competition and fraudulent businessmen.

The young Nicole Noblet wanted to become a film actress in France in the 1950s. To the displeasure of her parents and her fiancé Georges, she goes to Paris to try her luck in an acting competition. There she makes it to the finals, but she does not get the role. Before she can go home disappointed, she persuades her new friends, press officer Gilbert and acting debutante Kiki, to stay. But soon her new life in Paris poses some challenges for Nicole and she has to decide which life to lead.

The critic of Filmdienst wrote: "Formally insignificant cinema piece, laughable in the hypocritical intention of educating young girls about the dangers of a film career."
