Noël Roquevert (born December 18, 1892 in Doué-la-Fontaine , France , † November 6, 1973 in Douarnenez ) was a French actor who appeared in 180 film and television productions.
Act
Noël Roquevert usually played supporting roles, but mostly people of respect. In Fanfan, the Hussar (1952) , in which he played the protagonist's imperious superior (Maréchal) under the direction of Christian-Jaque , he fought a spectacular fencing duel with the main actor Gérard Philipe , which is one of the highlights of the film. In Zum Dessert Blau Bohnen (1963), directed by Bernard Borderie , he is General Walker, the somewhat idiot boss of Lemmy Caution (Eddie Constantine), whom he repeatedly calls to order and whose misfortunes he ends up amused openly. At the age of over 70, he was still playing Ludovic Lesly, the high-ranking old warrior of the Scottish Guard and uncle of the title hero Quentin Durward , under the direction of Gilles Grangier for a German-French television series .
