Bernard Borderie
Bernard Borderie (born June 10, 1924 in Paris , † May 28, 1978 ibid) was a French screenwriter and film director .
Life
Bernard Borderie, the son of the film producer Raymond Borderie , was initially an illustrator and from 1942 worked as an assistant director, e.g. B. for Jean Dréville and Marcel Carné . From 1951 Borderie worked as a film director himself. The success of Im Banne des blond Satan led to a long-term collaboration with actor Eddie Constantine , who also played the private detective Lemmy Caution in other films . Even with the Angélique - series used Borderie, who also wrote the screenplay for many of his films, proven pattern. From 1971, Borderie worked exclusively for television.
