action
Burt Brickford was once a distinguished U.S. Navy captain. But he is wanted after a ship accident that is his fault. He lives unrecognized on an island in Central America. One day a couple of business people show up. They want to hire Brickford to be the captain for a trip to Cuba. He initially rejects the offer; but when the businessmen offer him a new forged passport, he accepts the offer.
On the drive to Cuba it turns out that the businessmen are really after a treasure. When Gérard Lester is recovered, an assassination attempt is carried out. But there is no treasure at all. Pérez ambushes the ship with a group of pirates. Brickford manages to free the ship from the pirates' hands. Paulo is now the opponent of Brickford. Paulo wants to use the ship to smuggle drugs into the USA. After some back and forth, Brickford manages to arrest the criminals on land. Brickford receives a new passport and is acquitted of previous offenses.
