In 1929, the southern French man with the elegant, narrow mustache made his first contact with film: In Augusto Genina'sMiss Europe ”, which was made during the period of upheaval from silent to talkies, he lent his voice to one of the leading actors. But it wasn't until three years later that Henri Crémieux stood in front of the camera for the first time. In the next four decades he played a number of supporting roles in some very well-known films, in which he had partners such as Fernandel , Jean Marais , Louis de Funès , Michel Simon , Charles Vanel , Catherine Deneuve and, again and again, Jean Gabin . His role included a wide variety of types: gentlemen of the world (“ The gorilla sends his regards”, “The President ”) as well as simple people (counter clerk in “ If Marie weren't so moody ”). In addition, since 1956, the artist found plenty of employment in television (series "Un mystère par jour" ).
