Ryūji Fujiyama ( Japanese 藤 山 竜 仁 , Fujiyama Ryūji ; born June 9, 1973 in Kagoshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Fujiyama learned to play soccer on the school team at Kagoshima Jitsugyo High School . He signed his first contract with Tokyo Gas (today: FC Tokyo) in 1992 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 19999 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and rose to the J1 League . In 2004 and 2009 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed 409 games. In 2010 he moved to the second division Consadole Sapporo . For the club he completed 31 games. At the end of 2010 he ended his career as a football player.
