Ryūji Sueoka ( Japanese 末 岡 龍 二 , Sueoka Ryūji ; born May 22, 1979 in Yamaguchi , Yamaguchi Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Sueoka began his professional career in 2002 with the Japanese club Albirex Niigata , after having previously attended Chūkyō University . Since he was rarely used within two years, he was loaned to the club's branch in the S-League in Singapore . At the end of the season he returned to Japan. The good performances in the S-League were fondly remembered by other S-League clubs. In 2006 he moved back to Singapore and played one season for Geylang United before moving to Balestier Khalsa for one season in 2007 . During his time in Singapore he could not win a title. From 2008 to 2009 Ryūji Sueoka played in the Thai Premier League for Bangkok United and then went to India . He has been under contract with Mohun Bagan since the 2009/10 season .
