Ryūsuke Sakai ( Japanese 酒井 隆 介 Sakai Ryūsuke ; born September 7, 1988 in Moriyama ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Sakai learned to play soccer on the Nagoya Grampus Eight youth team and the Komazawa University college team . He signed his first contract with Kyoto Sanga FC in 2011 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club, he completed 99 league games. In 2015 he moved to the first division club Matsumoto Yamaga FC . At the end of the 2015 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 36 league games. In July 2016, he moved to the first division club Nagoya Grampus . At the end of the 2016 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 21 league games. In 2018 he moved to league rivals FC Machida Zelvia .
