Ryan McGarvey (born October 30, 1986 in Albuquerque , New Mexico ) is an American blues and blues rock guitarist, singer and composer.

Ryan's major influences include top guitarists in the genre such as Joe Bonamassa , Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan . His guitar playing is distinctive and accomplished, his riffs oscillate between epic, brutal, groovy and emotional. His voice is rough and gripping. Ryan Mcgarvey has already been on stage with numerous renowned colleagues for jam sessions, e. E.g. with Joe Bonamassa, Blue Öyster Cult , Warren Hayne ’s Gov't Mule , Buddy Guy , Joe Ely or the Fabulous Thunderbirds . In 2010 he won the renowned " Crossroads Guitar Festival " competition from Eric Clapton , where he prevailed against 4,000 competitors. In 2015 he won the European Blues Award in the category of best guitarist.
