Pivirotto appeared internationally for the first time at the 2014 Junior World Championships in Erzurum and was eighth in the relay. He made his World Cup debut in November 2014 in Salt Lake City . He finished 24th and 12th over 1000 m and achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in the relay. At the 2015 World Championships in Moscow , he took eighth place in the relay. In the 2019/20 season he came in 30th overall with two top ten placements over 1000 m. At the Four Continents Championships in Montreal in 2020 , he came in 13th place in the all-around competition and won the bronze medal with the relay.
