Lanza Mohoza is a town in the La Paz department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Lanza Mohoza is the central place of the canton Lanza in the municipality Colquiri in the province Inquisivi . The village is located at an altitude of 3401 m on the right bank of the Río de Mohoza flowing north.

Lanza Mohoza lies between the Bolivian Altiplano in the west and the Amazon lowlands in the east. The region has a distinctive time-of-day climate in which the mean temperature fluctuations during the day are more pronounced than during the year.
