Chullunquiani is a town in the La Paz department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Chullunquiani is the seventh largest town in the canton of Caluyo in the municipality of Colquiri in the Inquisivi province . The village is located at an altitude of 4172 m on a right tributary of the Río Chusica Jahuira, which flows north here.

Chullunquiani lies between the Bolivian Altiplano in the west and the Amazon lowlands in the east. The region has a distinctive time-of-day climate in which the mean temperature fluctuations during the day are more pronounced than during the year.
