Rymattylä
Rymättylä [ ˈrymætːylæ ] ( Swedish: Rimito ) is a former municipality in the archipelago off the coast of south-western Finland. It is located on the island of Otava and was incorporated into the city of Naantali in 2009 .
The municipality of Rymättylä had an area of 151.09 km² excluding the marine areas. It comprised the southern part of Otava, the offshore islands Airismaa and Aaslaluoto and a total of around 400 other skerries and cliffs. Most recently Rymättylä had 2,165 inhabitants. The community was purely Finnish-speaking .
The parish of Rymättylä was probably founded at the beginning of the 14th century. The church of Rymättylä is a stone church built around 1510 . At the beginning of 2009, Rymättylä was incorporated into the mainland town of Naantali, together with Merimasku , the second municipality on Otava, and Velkua .
