Rytas Kupčinskas

Rytas Kupčinskas (born February 8, 1949 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian conservative politician , member of the Seimas .

Life

After graduating from secondary school in Kaunas in 1966, he studied at the Kauno politechnikos institutas from 1966 to 1972 and became an engineer. From 1972 to 1992 he worked at the Institute for Industrial Construction in Kaunas. From 1990 to 1995 he was a deputy in the Kaunas City Council , from 1996 to 2000 and from 2004 to 2008 a member of the Seimas .

family

His father Juozas Kupčinskas (1906–1971) was a doctor and professor.

His son Andrius Kupčinskas (* 1975) is a politician and former mayor of Kaunas.
