Ryu Ridge is a mountain ridge on Alexander I Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Finlandia Foothills , it extends southeast of Dragon Peak between Tatsu Glacier and Smaug Glacier .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2018. It is named after the Japanese竜 ( Ryu , also Tatsu ) for dragon .
