São Mamede de Coronado is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
São Mamede de Coronado belongs to the Trofa district in the Porto district . The community had an area of 7.8 km² and 4252 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). Together with the municipality of São Romão do Coronado, the municipality forms the small town of Vila do Coronado .
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Coronado (São Mamede) and Coronado (São Romão) were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Coronado (São Romão e São Mamede) .
