São Nicolau is a place in the hinterland of the Mé-Zóchi district on the island of São Tomé in the island state of São Tomé and Príncipe . In 2012, 118 inhabitants were counted.
geography
The place is located at an altitude of about 920 m, about three kilometers southwest of Monte Cafe and only a little above the places Saudade and Nova Moca . A few hundred meters north of the village is the famous Cascata de São Nicolau waterfall .
