Sébastien Fournier (born June 27, 1971 in Nendaz ) is a former Swiss football player , today he is a football coach.

Career as a player

Fournier began his career at FC Sion , with whom he won the Swiss Cup in 1991, 1995 and 1996 . In 1996 he moved to VfB Stuttgart for a year . He then moved back to Switzerland to Servette Geneva . With Servette he became Swiss champion in 1999 and cup winner in 2001. In 2003 he ended his career.

International

He played 40 games for the Swiss national soccer team and took part in the 1994 World Cup and 1996 European Championship .

Career as a coach

After the end of his career as a player, he began his coaching career at the Swiss club Team-Genève-Servette-Carouge M21 . On June 4, 2012, the club management of FC Sion announced that Fournier will be the new head coach of the Swiss first division club with immediate effect . At the beginning of September 2012 Fournier resigned from his office, but remained with the club as a junior coach.
