The Sørbukta ( Norwegian for south bay ) is a small bay on the Vostok coast in the south of the West Antarctic Peter I Island . It is located 4 km east of the Zavodovskijbreen .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named them in 1987 after their geographical location.
