The Zavodovskijbreen ( Norwegian ) is a 9 km long glacier in the southwest of the West Antarctic Peter I Island .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1982 in misspelled spelling after Iwan Iwanowitsch Sawadowski (1780-1837), deputy commander on board the Vostok in the first Russian Antarctic expedition (1819-1821) under the direction of Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen , the discoverer of the Peter -I. Island.
The mouth of the glacier forms the southwest corner of the island. It delimits the Vostok Coast in the east from the Lazarev Coast in the north.
