The Sørfjord is a 38 kilometer long tributary of the Hardangerfjord in the province of Vestland in Norway . In the north, the fjord at Utne rises from the larger Hardangerfjord, which divides there into the Eidfjord and the Sørfjord. At the southern end is the city of Odda . The edge of the Hardangervidda , the largest plateau in Europe, rises on the eastern bank of the Sørfjord . On its west side is the Agatunet open-air museum with the oldest preserved house in Norway.
