The Eidfjord is the easternmost arm of the Hardangerfjord in Fylke Vestland in Norway .

geography

The Eidfjord is an extension of the Hardangerfjord to the east of the city of Bergen . It is located in the municipalities of Ullensvang , Ulvik and Eidfjord .

The Simadalsfjord , which forms the last four kilometers of the Hardangerfjord, begins in Eidfjord .

nature

A trip to the Kjeåsen Alm is worthwhile. Thanks to a tunnel, this alpine pasture is accessible to normal traffic at an altitude of 530 m. The alpine pasture offers a great view of the Eidfjord.
