Gåsvarv is a place ( Småort ) in the municipality of Älvdalen in the Swedish province of Dalarnas län and the historic province of Dalarna .

The place is located about two kilometers southeast of Älvdalen on Österdalälven . Riksväg 70 passes Gåsvarv . The station on the Älvdalsbahn is not in use. There is only freight traffic on the route.
