The Southern Terong Glacier is located in the eastern Karakoram in the Indian-controlled part of Kashmir .
The 26 km long glacier is located in the Rimo Muztagh . The southern Terong Glacier flows from the western flank of the 7,516 m high Mamostong Kangri in a north-westerly direction through the Rimo Muztagh massif. The southern Terong glacier ends about 500 m before the northern Terong glacier . The meltwater flows under the lower part of the Northern Terong Glacier.
