Southeast Daily Mail
The Südost-Tagespost was a daily newspaper of the Styrian ÖVP that existed from 1945 to 1987 .
The medium that appeared for the first time on October 26, 1945 was initially called Das Steirerblatt . As of October 1, 1951, the traditional daily post, which had existed since 1856, was used. In connection with the falling circulation and the associated economic crisis of the Austrian party newspapers , the Südost-Tagespost, which was printed by Leykam Verlag , was discontinued on March 31, 1987 on the instructions of governor and party chairman Josef Krainer junior . The Kleine Zeitung at Styria Verlag benefited from the hiring .
In the election campaign for the Styrian state elections in 2010, the 2009 daily post was revived as a free monthly newspaper. An association close to the ÖVP now acts as the publisher.
Gerfried Sperl is one of the well-known journalists who worked for the daily mail .
