Süleyman Abay (born May 13, 1973 in Giresun ) is a Turkish football referee .
Career
During his youth, Abay moved from his native Giresun to Istanbul . Here he also passed his referee examination. He went through the TFF 3rd Lig and TFF 2nd Lig each for three years to celebrate his promotion to the second division in 2002 . Only two years later he made his debut in the highest Turkish football league, the Süper Lig . His first game in the top division was the encounter Akçaabat Sebatspor - Diyarbakırspor on August 22, 2004.
