Sumer Ezgü

Sümer Ezgü (* 1960 in Burdur , Turkey ) is a Turkish singer , program editor and composer .

Life

Sumer Ezgü was born in Burdur as the second son of his family. He has been playing the melodica and mandolin since early childhood and has mastered the bağlama , a traditional Turkish-Anatolian string instrument. Later Sümer Ezgü worked as a dance teacher for various clubs (he also took folklore dance lessons himself). Both he and his classes often took part in national and international festivals. He worked 16 years at TRT in the program department and at the TRT radio station in Ankara .

In May 2004 , Sümer Ezgü performed in Germany together with Peter Bursch and his all-star band in Duisburg , at a concert in front of 10,000 spectators.

He participated in several international concerts in South Korea Seoul , WM FAN Fest FİFA 2006 , Bulgaria, Malta, England, Germany, former Yugoslavia, Italy, Albania, the USA, Holland, Sweden, Belgium, Norway, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Austria , Greece, Switzerland and France.

Some of his successful and popular pieces are: İlvanlım ( 1990 Prize for Interpretation of the Year), Bedirik, Dirmilcik'ten Gider Yaylanın Yolu, Çek Deveci, Dalları Bastı Kiraz.
