Sănătatea Cluj is a Romanian football club from Cluj-Napoca . He has been playing in the third division, Liga III , since 2005 .
history
Sănătatea Cluj ( German health ) was founded in 1986. The club played in the leagues of Cluj County for almost 20 years before moving up to Divizia C in 2005. There he immediately reached third place behind FC Baia Mare and Victoria Carei . The following seasons could place the team in the midfield of League III.
In the 2007/08 season , reaching the round of 16 for the Romanian Cup was the greatest success in the club's history. After a win against first division UTA Arad , the team was eliminated 4-0 against reigning champions Dinamo Bucharest . Twelve years later, the team reached the second round again after the team knocked out the reigning cup winner Viitorul Constanța in the sixteenth finals. In the second round, the club lost to the second division Petrolul Ploieşti with 0: 7.
