Sōta Nakazawa ( Japanese 中 澤 聡 太 , Nakazawa Sōta ; born October 26, 1982 in Mitaka , Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

career

Nakazawa started playing soccer while he was in elementary school at Asashigaoka SC club in Asaka . During middle school he played in the youth team of the first division Urawa Red Diamonds and then moved to the Funabashi high school , which is more than 40 km away and has already produced a large number of professional footballers. After graduating from high school, he was signed by the first division club Kashiwa Reysol in 2001 and made his professional debut there on November 24, 2001. In 2006 he was loaned to FC Tokyo and in 2007 to Gamba Osaka , to which he then moved. In 2013 he was signed by Kawasaki Frontale and loaned to Cerezo Osaka in 2015 .

Nakazawa was a member of the U-14/15 selection team , the U-19/20 selection team with which he qualified for the Junior World Cup 2001 and the U-22 selection .
