Sōtan Tanabe ( Japanese 田 邉 草民 , Tanabe Sōtan ; born April 6, 1990 in Tokyo , Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Sōtan Tanabe learned to play football on the school team of Kokugakuin Kugayama High School . He signed his first professional contract with FC Tokyo in 2009 . The club, which is based in Tokyo Prefecture , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . In the first year he won the J. League Cup with the club .
