The SAI KZ IV was a medical aircraft that was built by Skandinavisk Aero Industri during the German occupation in Denmark in World War II .

The KZ IV was a two-engine low - wing aircraft that was built using wood. It also had two rudders and a fixed tail wheel landing gear . It was powered by two Gipsy Major X motors, each with 107 kW (145 hp), which were located in gondolas on the wings. With a crew of two, the aircraft was able to transport two sick people on stretchers and two companions.

A total of only two units were built, the first, with the aircraft registration OY-DIZ in 1944, and the second, with the registration OY-DZU after the war in 1949. The first machine was badly damaged after an accident and lasted for 13 years restored to its original condition and is now in Dansk Veteranflysamling after a long career as a multi-purpose aircraft in England . She is still in ready-to-fly condition. The second machine is currently in the Danish Museum of Technology in Helsingør .
