The SC Hamburg (officially: Snookerclub Hamburg eV ) is a snooker club from Hamburg .

history

In the 2002/03 season, after four years in the 1st Bundesliga , the first team was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga . 2006 followed with the second place in the 2nd Bundesliga, the promotion to the 1st Bundesliga. There they got down again after only one season. In 2009, SC Hamburg became champions of the 2nd Bundesliga, but again only managed to stay in the 1st Bundesliga for one season. As champions of the 2nd Bundesliga in 2013, SC Hamburg played again in the first division in the 2013/14 season. There he finished seventh, one point behind the sixth 1. SC Dortmund and relegated to the second division. In the following season, the club reached first place without defeat and thus managed to get promoted again. In the 2015/16 season, relegation to the second division followed with seventh place.

The second team of SC Hamburg played in the second division for the first time in the 2006/07 season, but despite a fourth place, because of the relegation of the first team, had to relegate to the top division. There she managed to rise again in 2013 in fifth place, followed by relegation in the 2013/14 season with seventh place. In the 2014/15 season, the second reached first place with only one defeat and thus returned to the second division. A year later, the team rose again in seventh place in the league.
