history
Nothing is known about the sporting league affiliation after it was founded until the 1944/45 season. For this season , the team within the Dresden group was integrated into Season 2 of the Gauliga Sachsen . Since the game operation was canceled in December 1944 due to the advancing Second World War, the team only played five games. From this season a 5-2 defeat at VfB Kamenz is recorded . After the end of the war, the association was also dissolved.
As everywhere in the Soviet occupation zone , communal sports groups were formed in Bautzen; including SG Bautzen-West , which continued the tradition of the SC. SG Bautzen-West later merged with BSG Motor Bautzen .
