The agricultural trade fair SIMA - SIMAGENA ( S alon I nternational du M achinisme A gricole , S alon I nternational de l'élevage, du Ma tériel et de la Gén étique A gricole ) takes place every two years in spring near Paris at the Paris Exhibition Center - Nord Villepinte (formerly at the Paris Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center ). It is the French counterpart to the Agritechnica and EuroTier trade fairs in Germany.

The agricultural trade fair Salon international de l'agriculture (SIA) has a similar name to SIMA . It takes place annually and also in Paris, but is aimed at a wider audience. In 2011 SIMA was visited by around 210,000 people.
