R-27 (missile)
R-27 and RSM-25 ( DIA-Code SS-N-6 , NATO Code Name Serb ) is the name of a group submarine -assisted medium-range missiles of the Soviet Navy from the 1960s, which were built in several variants. The R-27 could - depending on the version - carry one or three nuclear warheads. Civilian ballistic payloads were also carried with excess missiles. The hypergolic combination of asymmetrical dimethylhydrazine and dinitrogen tetroxide was used as fuel for the R-27 .
