The SVO Sales GmbH is a regional utility companies for electricity , internet , natural gas and water . The company is the basic supplier in the district of Uelzen , in the district and city of Celle, as well as in some peripheral areas. In 2017, the company supplied around 125,000 electricity customers, 46,000 natural gas customers and 88,000 drinking water customers.
SVO Vertrieb GmbH is part of SVO Holding GmbH . The group of companies has around 250,000 customers in the districts of Celle and Uelzen, the city of Celle and parts of the districts of Heidekreis and Gifhorn .
electricity
The company delivered around 557 million kilowatt hours (kWh) to its customers in 2017. The services of SVO Vertrieb GmbH also include offers for the planning and construction of a photovoltaic system, smart home and for improving the thermal insulation of the building envelope and thus reducing CO 2 emissions.
SVO Vertrieb operates five charging stations with a total of twelve charging points . These are located in Celle on Sprengerstraße, Kanzleistraße and Mühlenstraße, in front of the town hall in Wietzendorf and in Suderburg at the Ostfalia University. Electric vehicles can be charged here.
natural gas
The basic supply area for natural gas extends from Celle over the district of Celle and Uelzen. In 2017, around 1,230 gigawatt hours of natural gas were delivered to customers.
SVO Vertrieb purchases natural gas from various wholesalers. It is predominantly L-quality natural gas, which is mainly produced in the north German lowlands and in Holland. Since autumn 2018 only H-gas has been supplied.
warmth
In the context of heat contracting, SVO Vertrieb GmbH is increasingly operating systems. This required 11.8 gigawatts of heat sales in 2017.
Drinking water
SVO Vertrieb supplies the communities in the district of Celle - with the exception of the city of Bergen - with drinking water. In the Uelzen district, SVO Vertrieb has been supplying drinking water together with the Uelzen District Water Supply Association (WVU) since the 1970s. All municipalities except the core city of Uelzen are supplied. The water supply for around 35,900 customers in 2017 was around 5.0 million cubic meters (m³).
sewage
In the field of wastewater disposal, the municipalities of the districts of Celle and Uelzen cooperate with SVO Vertrieb GmbH. The Abwasserverband Matheide (AVM) is a service provider in the field of wastewater disposal. With the exception of most of the municipalities in the district of Celle, it belongs to it. SVO Vertrieb settles the wastewater charges for the AVM. She is also entrusted with the entire commercial management.
The same services as for the Abwasserverband Matheide are provided by SVO Vertrieb GmbH for the Abwasserverband Aue and for the joint municipality of Rosche . In addition, she is responsible for the technical management of the wastewater network and the sewage treatment plants. The SVO settles the wastewater fees for the city of Celle and for the other Celle and Uelzen municipalities that do not belong to the wastewater associations.
