The SV Beckdorf is a sports club (SV) from Beckdorf in Lower Saxony .
history
The association was founded in 1924. The club offers badminton , children's gymnastics and, mainly, handball . In 2011 the association had around 550 members.
The first men's team of SV Beckdorf played from the 2010/11 season in the 3rd division , North Season; the team was relegated as 14th in the table in the 2014/15 season . In the 2015/16 season, SV Beckdorf won the championship without losing points in the Oberliga North Sea as well as winning the state cup and once again rose to the 3rd division . In the 2016/17 season Beckdorf was relegated to the North Sea Oberliga .
