The SV Haiming is an Austrian football club from the town of Haiming in the district Imst in Tyrol founded and was the 1,973th The sports association was represented in the Regionalliga West from 1988 to 1990. The fighting team plays in the regional league west.
history
After the Second World War, German-speaking refugees from Yugoslavia and Romania lived in the barracks of the West Tyrolean power plants and built a soccer field. The soccer team from the barracks camp called itself "White Elf", which was the basis of SV Ötztal, from which SV Haiming / Ötztal emerged in 1956.
The predecessor club SV Haiming / Ötztal stayed for six years in the Tyrolean regional league and four years in the regional league west in the 1960s. In July 1968, the club inaugurated the new sport with the game Bayern Munich Amateurs against SV Hall , who were then playing in the Regionalliga West.
The SV Haiming was registered in 1973 and started with its combat team in the 2nd class Oberland.
Men's soccer
At the end of the 1970s, the club achieved promotion to the Tyrolean amateur league with a new coach.
Due to a reform, the Haiminger were in the Landesliga West and in 1984/85 they were promoted to the Tyrolean League and in 1986/87 to the Regionalliga West, a league of what was then the third level of Austria. Only in 1990 did the club climb back into the Tyrolean League, in 1996/97 in the Landesliga West, in 2002/03 in the Regional League West and in 2004/05 in the 1st Class West. With two championship titles in a row, the club rose again in the Regional League West.
