The SV Kreiensen 06 was a sports club from Kreiensen in the Northeim district . The first men's soccer team played for a year in the highest amateur league in Lower Saxony.

The club was founded in 1906 and rose in 1948 to the Hildesheim regional league , which was the highest amateur league in Lower Saxony at the time. With only five wins this season, the team was relegated as the penultimate. A year later, the SV 06 was also passed in the third class amateur league 5 last and thus in the district league. Already in 1956 he was relegated to the district class.

SV Kreiensen 06 later merged with Post-SV Kreiensen to form Post-SV Kreiensen 06 . Since 2003 this club has formed a syndicate with SC Greene . In the 2003/04 season the club FC Kreiensen / Greene succeeded in winning the Northem / Einbeck district league and advancing to the then district class. Unfortunately, the FC was relegated immediately and was passed through to the 1st district class. The FC Kreiensen / Greene succeeded in 2010 the rise in the county league Einbeck / Northeim , where the team is still playing today. In the 2015/16 season, FC Kreiensen / Greene withdrew their team from the Northeim / Einbeck district league.
