SV Laubusch

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Laubusch sports club , or SV Laubusch for short , is a sports club from Laubusch in Saxony with 155 members in the football , handball and volleyball departments .

history

The club was founded in 1919 as 1. FC Schwarz-Weiß 1919 Grube Erika . The name was given to the Erika lignite mine . After the Second World War it was re-established as SG Johnny Schehr Grube Erika . The club was converted in 1950 to the company sports community Aktivist Laubusch or activist Laubusch for short . The footballers played from 1958 in the third-class II. GDR league , in which they rose after winning the Cottbus district championship. After a tenth place in the first year in season 4, the Laubuscher always landed in the front midfield: in 1959 they were sixth in season 4, from 1960 to season 2 initially fourth, then again in 1961/62. Fifth place in 1962/63 was not enough for Laubusch to remain in national football, as the GDR Football Association dissolved the five-track 2nd GDR league. From 1963 the sixteen district leagues formed the third division of the GDR.

Only the FDGB-Pokal offered activist Laubusch the opportunity to return to the national limelight. In 1975 activist qualified for the first main round, but retired after extra time against Motor Bautzen with 1: 2. 13 years earlier, the activist kickers were in the first main round for the last time when they were also defeated 1: 2 at BSG Stahl Riesa . 1962 was the most successful year for Laubusch in the cup. After victories over Empor Wurzen and Stahl Helbra , Laubusch received SC Dynamo Berlin in the third main round , which left the activist no chance at 2: 6. Laubusch had also reached the 2nd main round of the FDGB Cup in 1954 and 1957, and in 1959 the 1st main round was the final destination.

After 14 more years in the third division of the Cottbus district league, activist Laubusch rose in 1977 to the Cottbus district class, Staffel Mitte. Three years later, the rise succeeded. With the end of the GDR, the company group was initially renamed SV Aktivist Laubusch in 1990, and in 1992 the association deleted the activist from the name. Since 1991 Laubusch has been part of Dresden football and played in the local district class, season 5. After relegation in 1996, he even went to the city league Hoyerswerda for a year, but Laubusch left the championship immediately. From 2001 to 2003 the SV Laubusch had to go down to the city league again, but since 2003 the SV has been back in the Dresden district class.
