history
The Mayrhofen Sports Association was founded in 1953. She celebrated her greatest success with the Tyrolean championship title in 1984 and the associated promotion to the Regionalliga West, in which the Mayrhofer only played for one year.
In the following years they were again represented in the Tyrolean lower house. In the 2007/08 season they occupied 14th place in the table in the Tyrolean League , which meant that they had to relegate to the fifth-class Landesliga Ost . The 2008/09 season ended in this as eleventh of 14 participants, as well as the 2009/10 season. In the 2010/11 season they finished ninth in the table. The 2011/12 season ended in 13th place, which was relegated to the sixth class regional league East . In this one ended the 2012/13 season in eleventh place. In the 2013/14 season you could get promoted back to the national league as runner-up behind SV Wörgl . In the first season after their return they finished ninth. The 2015/16 season ended Mayrhofen third in the table.
In the 2016/17 season they finally became champions and after nine years they were able to climb back into the Tyrolean league. In this, however, they only lasted one season, the 2017/18 season ended as bottom of the table, which meant that they were relegated to the national league. In this, they finished third in the 2018/19 season.
