The Sadang or Sa'dan (name in Toraja) or Salo Sadang is an approximately 180 kilometers long river in the south-western arm of the island of Sulawesi .
The river has its source in the north of Toraja Utara and from there runs south through Tana Toraja , through Rantepao and past Makale . Next the Sadang flows past Enrekang Regency and Benteng what he about 45 km north of Pare-Pare in the Makassar Strait opens. Tributaries are the Mamasa River and the Mata Allo and Palau.
