Saaba is both a municipality ( French commune rurale ) and a department encompassing the same area in the West African state of Burkina Faso in the Center region and the province of Kadiogo . The community has 50,532 inhabitants in 24 villages, the majority of them Mossi .

In the village of Gampèla, which belongs to Saaba, a used car market is to be created for the nearby capital Ouagadougou .
