Sabah Badminton Association

The Sabah Badminton Association is a sports association in the sport of badminton in the state of Sabah in Malaysia .

history

The association was founded in November 1956 as the North Borneo Badminton Association . From the date of its inception until 1965, it was the top national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Northern Borneo . In 1964 the North Borneo Badminton Association was renamed to its current name. In 1965 he joined the Badminton Association of Malaysia . Linked to this was the task of the national badminton association and the assumption of the duties as the badminton association of the state of Sabah. From January 1958 until its change of duties in 1965, the association was a member of the International Badminton Federation . Today the seat of the association is Kota Marudu .
